I’m not the only one

Tonight I attended my university’s pre-departure information session. The information was quite general and easily found on the internet. On the plus side, there was free pizza and drinks.

After a little socialising, I found out that many of the students who have also applied to study in Japan have yet to heard from their respective universities. As it turns out, the enrolment dates are later in Japan compared to U.S. and Europe. This may the reason behind NUCB’s lack of confirmation.

With that said, I’m glad I attended this event; I feel more optimistic now that I’ve spoken with people who are going through the same thing as me.

Also, shoutout to Cindy! :) It was wonderful catching up with you tonight. I hope that it’s smooth sailings for our applications from here on out.

edit: HAPPY 100TH POST! Thank-you for everyone who has been following along since the beginning and those who just started. I hope to keep you all entertained with more tales of my adventures here on The World is Not Scary. Here’s to the next 100!
